Who We Are
The Hertfordshire Hoteliers Association has been active since late 2007 and now represents a fine collection of branded and unique individually owned properties representing diversity and excellence in Hotels across the County of Hertfordshire.
Initially formed between like-minded Hoteliers in the St Albans & Hatfield area, the Association now collectively offers more than 2000 guest bedrooms and more than 100 highly flexible conference, meeting & event rooms. Active member units stretch from Watford to Stevenage and from Markyate to Ware. Actively promoting Business & Leisure Tourism across the County, we participate in local and national marketing initiatives and offer an excellent range of benefits to our members.
An array of different styles are available throughout the County, ranging from modern and stylish business hotels in busy corporate locations, boutique city centre properties, nearby airport hotels and even country house style venues with great character, fascinating history and beautiful landscaped gardens. High quality accommodation and event rooms are offered throughout and you will find a variety of other excellent facilities, some hotels offer fine dining restaurants and many feature superb leisure facilities.

“This is an exciting time for the Association, we are involved in projects aimed at improving the appeal of Hertfordshire as a destination for Business and Leisure based Tourism; working with relative professional organisations to improve the perception of our industry for careers, partnerships with local attractions to boost mutual visitors and securing representation at national exhibitions to increase knowledge of our fantastic county as a brilliant place to hold any event.
Clearly our industry faces many challenges at present, not least of which is the difficult financial climate and the adverse affect that this has had on the occupancy, rate and overall revenue statistics at Hotels throughout the UK. The membership of the HHA strongly believes that by working together in such an organisation creates opportunities for sales, marketing and PR exposure that might not otherwise exist.
The HHA is working hard collectively in order to place the member Hotels in a position of strength as we now look forward to the opportunities that will present themselves through a recovering economy, the impending 2012 Olympic Games, Butterfly World and other leisure and business developments in our region.
We welcome interest from Hoteliers throughout Hertfordshire who would like to explore the opportunity of joining the Hertfordshire Hoteliers Association. If you would like to know more click on Hoteliers link and get in touch; we will be delighted to invite you along to one of our monthly meetings and look forward very much to hearing from you."
